National Trails Day June 7, 2008 9am - Noon at Blakeley Historic State Park Spanish Fort, AL
Located on historic Mobile Bay, Blakeley Historic State Park has a long and storied history. It began with Native Americans who called this land home over 1500-years ago. Then there was the town of Blakeley that once Rivaled Mobile as a bustling seaport. And of course, this was the site of the last major battle of the Civil War.
Join AHTS and Blakeley Historic State Park for our National Trails Day celebration. Park director JoAnn Flirt will take us on this easy, family friendly hike along the trails and tell us about the park's history.
