Welcome to the Online Home of Alabama's Statewide Hiking &Trail Organization

The Alabama Hiking Trail Society (a non-profit 501(c)3) is a statewide hiking and trail organization. Our members from Huntsville to Mobile share a common love for hiking and backpacking and are committed to developing, maintaining, protecting, and promoting a statewide hiking trail system. You can help AHTS in our mission by
becoming a member or volunteering. But we're not all about work. We invite you to join us on one of our many activities along the trails of Alabama!
